Church Support & Services

The members of The Lighthouse deepen our faith and sense of church family by actively engaging in activities that build friendships and strengthen our faith. Below are just some of the things we do to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ within our church and beyond.

  • ​The members of the Lighthouse at Indian Lake have deepened their faith and sense of church family by actively engaging in activities that build friendships and strengthen their faith. Below are just some of the things we do to share the gospel of Jesus Christ within our church and beyond.
     

• Prayer Chain

  • ​The Prayer Chain Ministry is a group of volunteers who offer prayers for members and friends during times of illness, death, or any other personal crisis. They pray individually and as a group for all who are in need.
     

• Christian Women’s Fellowship (CWF)

  • ​The CWF is a group of dedicated women of Indian Lake. Their activities include study programs, worship, praying, fellowship, paying for our youth to attend camp, IL school backpacks, military care packages, children’s Christmas, assisting religious education programming, and supporting church dinners.
     

• Ladies Aid

  • ​The Ladies Aid is a group of Christian women who assist and support many of the church functions. Various activities include assisting the Men’s Club with various activities, rummage sale, monetary contributions for different church projects, and donating money to the Memorial Fund.
     

• Good Samaritans/Outreach Center

  • ​Just as the name implies, the Good Samaritans’ mission is to assist the Indian Lake community residents in their time of need. They help people with utility payments, rent, medicine, and other items. Outreach provides products not covered by food stamps, also. 
     

• Beacons and Dock Children’s Church

  • ​During the regular worship service at the Lighthouse, we offer special children’s church for children 18 months to 10 years of age. This service is monitored and staffed by church members.
     

• Hope4Peace

  • ​A member support group for any woman who has lost a child. Our experienced members can share with you how they cope, continually work to find peace, while they provide comfort as they adjust in their daily lives to find their new normal.
     

• Men’s Prayer Breakfast

  • ​Held every Wednesday at 8:30 am, this gathering offers fellowship and discussion. It is held alternating weeks at Woodys and the Landing. 
    All men of the church are welcome. 

• 
  Sunday Children’s Services

  • In-Church Nursery for children aged 6 months – kindergarten

  • Sunday Worship for children

• Bible Studies

  • Throughout each year we offer Bible studies to both men and women.

• Library

  • The Lighthouse library has a wide range of books and video selections from Christian novels, inspirational titles to self-help, Bible study guides, children’s books, and more, all freely lent out.

  •  

• Youth Group

  • Our Ignite Student Ministries group school ghosts local students in our Lookout Center. The Lookout is a center for kids to gather in a secure and Christian atmosphere to enjoy each other, worship, and have fun.

  •  

• Fifth Quarter

  • We facilitate and host Fifth Quarter student events. These offer a safe place for students of Indian Lake to go after football and basketball games for food, fun, fellowship, and more.
