Community Support & Services
The Lighthouse at Indian Lake is a strong advocate by offering and delivering community support to the region. From financial to spiritual support, we offer multiple ways our membership can and does actively work to support and raise the quality of life right here at the lake, in Logan County, and beyond.

Good Samaritan Outreach Center

Just as the name implies, the Good Samaritans’ mission is to assist the Indian Lake community residents in their time of need. They help people with utility payments, rent, medicine, and other items.

Community Meal

Community Meal is run by the Good Samaritans. They provide and serve a full meal open to all in the Indian Lake community on the last Thursday of each month.

Vacation Bible School

Every summer, the Lighthouse, and Indian Lake Community Church run a week-long vacation Bible School for all children ages 3-10.

Gathering Grounds Coffee Shop

Located in the heart of Russells Point, the GG serves all types of coffee, baked goods, and local favorites like Whitt's Frozen Custard and Rise Bakery Products.

Fall Festival Food Concessions

The Fall Festival is held at the State Park campground on the north side of the lake. The church has a food concession booth at this annual event.

Community Rummage Sales

Held twice annually on the first full weekend of May and October, this community-wide sale is open to all and chuck full of bargains.

Pancake Breakfasts & 4th of July BBQ

Led by the Men’s Club these periodic Saturday pancake breakfasts are open to all. On the 4th of July, we host a community-wide chicken BBQ feast.

Helping Hands

Helping Hands is a team of church members dedicated to helping those in the Indian Lake area who are in need of home repairs, exterior fixes, and overall improvements to their property.
