Who We Are
Youth Student Ministries
Ignite Student Ministries is the youth group of both traditional and contemporary services at Indian Lake Community Church and The Lighthouse. It is our vision that our hearts would be ignited by the fiery passion of God to help us love Jesus and all people. The ages of Ignite consist of 11-18-year-olds. Ignite meets every Sunday except the first Sunday of the month during The Lighthouse service. After worship, the students go to the church basement and have a devotional lead by youth pastor Joel Perez and do other fun youth activities.
IGNITE WEDNESDAY NIGHT / 6:00p- 8:30p
At Ignite Wednesday Night, the youth gather for food, fun, worship, fellowship and to engage in God’s story. We create an atmosphere so they can come as they are and be themselves.
You don't have to have been a Bible expert. You don't have to have the answers. You don't even have to be sure what you believe. You are welcome at Ignite Wednesday Night!
AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM / 3:00p- 5:30p
During the school year, we offer an After School Program on Tuesdays and Thursdays to provide the youth with a safe place to hang out after school. We help with homework, offer a snack, and build Jesus centered relationships with them.
SUMMER HANG OUT / 11:30a- 3:00p
Starts June 7, 2022
In the summer, we have a Summer Hang Out on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. We play games, go on outings, eat lunch, hang out and do community service projects.
BACK TO SCHOOL WATER BASH / 8th- 12th grades only
Each summer on a Sunday before school presumes we host the Back to School Water Bash at the High School. We serve hot dogs, give them chances to win cool prizes, have a massive slip-n-slide, play slip-n-slide kickball, and end with an epic water balloon fight with over 6,000 water balloons!
5TH QUARTER / 8th- 12th grades only
5th Quarter is an event we put on 6 times a year, in the Middle School gymnasium. We provide either Pizza or an Ice Cream Sundae Bar with all the toppings you could imagine, play a game that is for large groups, listen to really loud music and have some good, safe fun.
